Oh my...The rumours were true. You DO get addicted and obsessed...HELP ME!! I'VE BOUGHT MORE LUSH!!
So, yes...I finally received my last two orders from the Lush Boxing Day sale and I was sooo beyond excited I literally RIPPED the boxes open to see the goodies it seemed I waited forever for! Let's just cut to the chase, shall we?
Two boxes filled with goodies...:)
In the picture: 2x North Pole soap, 2x Mr. Punch soap, 2x Snowcake soap, 2x Midnight Massage massage bars, 1x Snowglobe sample, 1x Snowcake sample
This haul had so much great stuff. I am TOTALLY LOVING the North Pole soap. In fact, it's what's in my shower right now! It just smells sooo divine - like peppermint and chocolate but in a warm tone if that makes any sense. This is a sample of what my bars looked like. I thought it was sooo pretty! I did cut one bar in chunks and am using one chunk now but kinda bummed that the two colours had split so right now I'm using the really pink side and have the whiter side ready for the next time I pull it out!
The infamous Snowcake soap..So rich and creamy, love it! I will admit I had reservations when I picked up this soap. I didn't like it then but I dunno what happened, I'm addicted to the smell! So yummy!!
My massage bar...I wasn't too keen on this at first but I'm sooo glad I bought 2 bars! It is ridiculously creamy and moisturizing. In my opinion, it's the perfect moisturizer out there! I have sensitive skin yet no issues at all. It smells like vanilla and jasmine and has a slight orange gold shimmer on it. LOVE IT! I wish I had taken pics of Mr. Punch but I didn't. I was in such a rush that day ugh...
Words cannot express how ridiculously giddy I am over this haul! I'm sooo addicted...so addicted, that in fact I went and made another order *groan* But wait! Lush finally released their Valentine's Day stuff...You KNOW I had to order a few things right? So uh ya, when that order comes in I shall yet again post it on here LOL!
Yes..I've become THAT person..The person who suddenly will spend all her cash on things so stupid such as soap and creams and all that other girly stuff. But let me explain! I live in Canada, where the winters are pretty harsh and cold and dry. Where the fluffy white stuff isn't met with as much excitement as say, other Canucks who indulge in wintery sports outside like skiing and skating. Me, I'm a tropical INDOOR girl...I like hot chocolate, warm fuzzy blankets and HEAT! But with all that said, it's a real buzzkill on my skin. It makes it completely annoyed and dried and fried. It's beyond frustrating...So, since this indoor girl was not exercising outdoors (minus the snow shovelling which, don't knock it, that is a serious workout!) I figured it was a good time to invest on things that would actually be KIND to my skin :D
Let me say, my skin has eczema, rosacea and is relatively sensitive. It takes my skin a while to actually acclimate itself to new products. It's why I don't sway often from things that work and I meet new things with fear and trepidation. I wasn't 100% sold on the idea of trying Lush products but I've used it A LONG TIME AGO and never had reactions so I figured why not try it out again? What I didn't forecast was a new obsession/addiction! Let me get straight to my latest goodies hehe...
If you didn't know, Lush has a crazy sale on Boxing Day (for those that don't know what that is, it's like Black Friday but held the day after Christmas Dec. 26). It's a BOGO kind of deal. Buy one, get one free and it's on specially marked products. I've heard it used to be on the entire product line, or it was buy one, get two free one other year...It all depends on Lush's stockpile I suppose! This year, it was BOGO on their holiday stuff so I took it upon to stock up on some products I never got a chance to buy before. Let's just cut straight to the pics!
So, in a nutshell....Angel's Delight is a fruity soap, pink in colour. The Lust Soap is jasmine oriented and also pink in colour. The Sandy Santa is a exfoliating sugar scrub (yum!!) and has this unique scent I just can't quite explain yet. Santa's Sack is spicy and can be used many times with how I've cut up my Lush products to conserve their usage. Figs and Leaves soap sample smells pretty nice! It may be on my hit list for my next order! Speaking of next orders...Uhm, I made two more orders on their Christmas specials..Yep, addicted! I have 3 more soaps coming my way and a massage bar. Oh gosh, I cannot wait for them to arrive! Once they do, I will definitely update with my purchases :D
In case you were wondering, this is what my collection looks like right now. Here are my shower gels and creams. I don't store these in the washroom but in my bedroom away from the sunlight and heat. It seems to be doing pretty good in this box I bought from the dollar store :D
As for my soaps, bubble bars, bath melts and scrubs I have them in my Helmer again away from sunlight and heat. The metal drawer helps keep the soaps cool and they won't melt. I have plastic wrapped all my products so that they don't mesh scents and won't lose their essential oils. Looks pretty good to me!
Ok that's it from me today! I apologize for my absence but life takes over and consumes my every moment. That's what happens when kids are in the picture! I will be back with more posts on more goodies bought. I will say, it will be a lot since these are pics I took from things purchased MONTHS AGO ugh...I will be back!!
